Friday Night
I have to tell you all about Friday night. We had our very first paid performance at Respectable and OMG… it was everything. After months of planning, dreaming, rehearsing (and panic-glittering), we finally became the Sailor Moon Pole Dancers as our little troupe, The Girls Next Door. ✨🌙
AND WE DID IT. There was fire, drop splits, bad ass combos and tandems, of course lol. We performed to a completely sold-out crowd and honestly, I still haven’t come down from the high. Like… our hearts are so full it’s ridiculous.
Audition + Preparation
Since this was our very first time performing together as a troupe, we definitely had something to prove. We weren’t just handed the spot — we had to earn it. That meant putting together a full audition video to show off what we could bring to the stage. And let me tell you, filming that was both chaotic and amazing. We were juggling schedules, trying to nail group combos, and figuring out how to translate our Sailor Moon vision into something that really popped on camera.
But that was just the beginning.
Creativity
To even be considered, we had to pitch the whole concept — like, full-on presentation mode. We explained the theme (hello, magical girl anime dreams!), shared our song lineup, and even broke down our costume ideas. Everything had to flow together — music, looks, choreography — all wrapped up in that iconic Sailor Moon energy. We wanted the audience to feel like they were stepping into an anime episode, just with a lot more glitter and heels.
It wasn’t just about looking cute in sailor suits (though, we definitely did that too); it was about creating a full performance experience. Think storyline, character vibes, matching aesthetics — all of it. We poured so much heart and creativity into it, and honestly, seeing it all come together onstage was pure magic.
Thank you
Thank you to the Pole fam for showing up, just to cheer us on — every scream, every shout, every sparkle of support hit us right in the feels. You lit up that room and made it magic. Seriously, thank you from the bottom of our glittery, moon-charged hearts 💖💫
Major love to @ladydangerevents for throwing the most magical show — you made our dream come to life. And @circusjoshira on the lolipop lyra? ICONIC.  @sin.silva You were the perfect MC, kept the vibes sky-high, and made us feel so taken care of the whole night. We love you!
We also got to see the stunning @circusjoshira blow minds, and @lindersmash had the whole place moving with their beats. So much talent in one space — we were all buzzing!
Student of the Year
Can we just take a quick moment to admire our girl Katharina? Our 2024 Student of the year! Like… WOW. She’s only been poling for a year and had the crowd eating out of the palm of her hand. I'm not even kidding — the way she owned that stage, the confidence, the power, the sparkle — it gave me chills.
I’m honestly so in awe of you, Katharina. Watching you shine like that was one of the proudest moments ever. I couldn’t be a prouder pole mom. You were magic. ✨💖
And now… let’s talk about our incredible Sailor Moon lineup (in order of appearance, because yes I remember it all):
